Lyndon House, 211 Hoyt Street

Join us for a panel co-hosted by Historic Athens and the Institute of Native American Studies.

The event will begin with a brief discussion of Athens' Native American history by Carl and Sally Gable Distinguished Professor of History James F. Brooks, followed by a panel discussion. Our accomplished panelists include Maya Henderson, NSF Graduate Research Fellow in the Department of Geography; Max Frye, Geography MA student and Wichita Tribal Commissioner; and Jaylon Bruner-Vann, PhD student in Counseling Psychology. The panel will be moderated by INAS Assistant Director James A. Owen.

We hope to see you there for this discussion of Athens' rich, yet often forgotten, history.
